Our mission is to equip owners on how to handle their dogs and understand them, we know that training is not just a dog being able to follow a command but also a process where dog and owner gets to know each other and understand each other and learn and grow together making for an unbreakable bond between dog and owner.
We believe in a relaxed environment where optimal learning can take place. We use reward-based techniques in our training, this mainly involves food, toys and lots of love and patience.
Classes-1
Witty Puppies
Puppy Socializing and Basic Training
This is a must for all pups, this course helps your puppy to correctly socialise and desensitize, it sets them up to be a confidant dog in the real world, that can go everywhere with their human parents and enjoy social gatherings with dogs and people alike.
Your puppy will learn
Puppies will learn to socialise with dogs and humans alike, body awareness, sensory stimulation and desensitization as well as the basics in obedience and lead manners. Owners gets a theory lesson each week on everything puppy and dog related.
Clever Dogs
Fundamental Obedience
This is the course that follows up on puppy class but also the starting class for all dogs that is new to training. This course lays the foundation in training and is just as important as puppy class. It provides stimulation and opportunity to grow both for owner and dog.
Your dog will learn
Our focus is for you to know how to handle and ask your dogs for commands and your dog to learn how to check in with their owners and follow commands. We teach sit, down, push ups, stay, heel, re call, focus, go find and touch, each week these exercises is made more complex to help you grow.
Brilliant Dogs
Intermediate Obedience and CGC Bronze and Silver
This is a great course to further you and your dogs training, we work to improve not only your dog’s obedience but also their social behaviour and lead manners. We offer an add on of 2 weeks to receive your canine good citizen in bronze and silver.
Your dog will learn
Place, send away, engaged heel, hind leg awareness and the principles of canine good citizen bronze and silver these include, co-operative care, social skills, relaxing among dog, impulse control, avoiding distraction and food manners.

Genius Dogs
Advanced Obedience and CGC Gold
This is the polished class, when you are here you can start doing dog sports with confidence. We further you and your dog with more advanced training based on rally obedience and the CGC Gold Syllabus. We offer an add on of 2 weeks to receive your canine good citizen in gold.
Your dog will learn
Advanced stays, formal send aways, obedience combined heel work, distance control, emergency stop, off-leash recall, and some of the exercises you will find in rally obedience like, front to side sit, shuffle sit, walk and spin and many more.
Private Training
This is ideal if you require more flexibility or have specific training needs.
Your dog will learn
Private training classes are presented at owner’s homes and are catered to you and your dog’s specific needs.
How Does it Work?
We come to your house, where we do a one-on-one training session based on your exact requirements.

Behaviour Modification
Aggression, resource guarding, being very reactive, noise sensitive, anxious, stressed, barking, chewing, digging, jumping up, house soiling & more.
How Does it Work?
We come to your house, where we do a full consultation in place and in person. After the consultation, a report and behaviour modification plan is created to help you and your dog overcome the problem.

The Team
Nicolene Jacobs
Founder, Behaviourist & Trainer
I am a qualified canine trainer and behaviourist with a lot of love for all animals, but especially dogs. I strive to give clients and dogs only the best service and always puts the dogs needs first. My qualifications include a certificates in Basic Training and Behaviour by COAPE, Dog Training by Learn Canine and an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Modification and Management by Pet Sense. I have two Brittany spaniels called Iva and Pascal that I dearly love and learn from daily.
Chani Brits
Zoologist & Trainer
I have always loved animals no matter what size. My passion though is dogs and wolves. I have a B.Sc. Honours degree in Zoology and I am currently completing a Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour. I aim to teach people more about their fur babies and to help them achieve a well behaved best friend and companion.
